Subsidy on Cultivation of Seasonless Tomato

A special subsidy is being given for seasonless cultivation of tomatoes in specific districts of Punjab. If the farmer cultivate the tomatos before November 20.They will get 1 lakh subsidy per acre.This subsidy wil proov helpfull to the farmers for the covering of costs of production.

Eligibility for Subsidy

For this  Special Package,the farmer has to follow recomendation of department.The farmer will get subsidy on the 50 to 60% area.The subsidy given to those farmers who have cultivated only half of the his land.Only seven districts farmers can apply for this subsidy.Following districts are included:

•  District Khushab
• Chakwal
• District DG Khan
• Attock
• Rajanpur
• Rawalpindi
• Jhelum

This subsidy will only to  those farmers who belong to these 7 districts.

Applying For Subsidy

The farmer can get application form from the concerned office.They can get this form these office::

• Divisional Director, Agriculture Extension Office
• Deputy Director of Agriculture Horticulture Office
• Assistant Director Office

After Special Package For FarmersIn the concerned office of Director of Agriculture Extension in selected district a draw will held so that farmer are selected by this draw.

Documents Required

If farmer is the land owner,then he must to provide proof of it.If he contractor then he has to submit the contract paper. These documents will verify that the applicant  wheather the owner or contractor of the land.

Appeal Procedures on Rejected Applications

If your application is rejected, the applicant may submit an appeal to the office of Agriculture.
